Frequently Asked Questions

  Frequently Asked Questions

Why are your coffee prices lower than others?

We keep our prices fair by working smart: simple store designs, takeaway only, efficient systems, and strong supplier relationships. That way, you get great coffee without paying extra for fancy fit-outs or big overheads.

Do you compromise on quality to keep prices low?

Not at all. We roast fresh coffee in New Zealand every week and use the same beans across all Coffix stores. All our beans passed quality testing and our baristas are well trained. We focus on quality, fair price and great service.

Why isn’t Coffix everywhere in New Zealand yet?

We’re growing carefully. Each store needs the right location, baristas, and franchise partners. We’d rather open fewer good stores than too many average ones. If you are looking to run a Coffix store - please be in touch.

How can I apply for a job at Coffix?

Easy: visit our website JOB page and apply or email us your CV to hr@coffix.co.nz. We’re always keen to meet friendly baristas who love coffee.

Is it expensive to buy a Coffix franchise?

Compared to many café chains, Coffix is affordable to partner as a franchisee. We’ve designed it to be accessible while still providing strong systems and support. Details are available in our franchise page.

Are you a New Zealand company?

Yes, Coffix was founded here and we proudly roast and serve coffee for Kiwi communities.

Do you use sustainable packaging?

Yes, our cups are home-compostable, we offer reusable cups and we’re always looking for better ways to reduce waste.

What is the “Mates Rates” discount card?

We offer Mate Rates cards to our regulars. You pre-pay for ten coffees and get 10% discount on all off them. A great way to save without having to pay each time you want a coffee.

What kind of coffee do you serve?

We are roasting 100% Arabica beans from the Pacific and South America and roast and serve them with care for both your taste buds and the environment. It’s common-sense coffee that warms both and your wallet happy :)

Can I buy coffee beans or order online?

Yes. You can buy Coffix beans in every store and soon on our website. We packed the exact same blend we serve in our Coffix stores.

How do you support your store partners (Franchisees)?

We back our franchisees whether they run one store or several with training, systems, and support. Someone with hospitality or retail experience and a heart for service is a great fit.
